Before you know it pumpkins, gourds, ghosts and goblins will be
everywhere and you’ll be planning your annual Halloween Bash. Here are
five of my favorite floral ideas sure to wake up the dead at your party.
Bewitching Affair. A colorful witch’s boot makes a fun container to hold flowers. It is a fun theme piece and will get your guests talking.
Pumpkin Patch Party. Keep it traditional and incorporate pumpkins into your floral arrangements. Ask your local florist what other fun gourds they have to make interesting floral arrangements for you.
Elegantly Gothic Cocktail Party. If you want to have
a more formal Halloween party, choose a sleek black container with a
little rhinestone bling collared around the vase. In this arrangement we
did the very popular eggplant calla lilies and fuchsia dendrobium
orchids. It’s a great monochromatic floral arrangement that will WOW
your guests.
Candy for the Kiddos. A
great way to incorporate candy is by filling a clear glass vase with
candy with fresh flowers spilling out the top. It can get a little
“tricky” by yourself, so ask your local florists for help!
Over the Top Spooky House. Do you want to spook all
your guests? Here we created an entire cemetery and flanked the entry
way with black urns filled with an abundance of dark purple gladiolas
and curly willow.
